Overview

JRGUTHERM JRG6320 flow regulator is a thermostatically controlled balancing valve designed to automatically regulate flow rates within domestic hot water recirculation systems. By continuously monitoring water temperature via an integral thermostat, the valve automatically adjusts flow volume to maintain hydraulic balance throughout the system, eliminating the need for complex manual balancing calculations.

The automatic flow regulation improves temperature consistency across the network, reduces commissioning time, and assists in achieving faster temperature recovery following periods of low demand. Designed for long-term reliability, the JRGUTHERM operates without ongoing adjustment and requires minimal maintenance throughout its service life.

Manufactured from high-quality corrosion-resistant materials including gunmetal, copper, stainless steel, and engineered polymers, the valve is suitable for commercial, healthcare, aged care, hospitality, and multi-residential hot water circulation systems where temperature control and energy efficiency are critical design requirements.

Features:

  • Automatic thermostatic flow regulation for hot water recirculation systems.
  • Maintains hydraulic balance without manual balancing calculations.
  • Continuously adjusts flow rate in response to water temperature.
  • Simplifies system design, commissioning, and operation.
  • Faster temperature recovery following temperature drop events.
  • Maintenance-free operation.
  • Energy-saving performance through optimised circulation flow.
  • Suitable for installation in any orientation.
  • Setting range: 36–63°C.
  • Maximum operating pressure: PN10.
  • Maximum differential pressure: 40 kPa.
  • Over-temperature protected design.
  • Compatible with threaded shut-off and non-return valve assemblies.

Design Considerations.

The JRGUTHERM is intended for use in pumped domestic hot water recirculation systems and is not suitable for gravity circulation systems. A bypass arrangement should be provided where thermal disinfection procedures are required. For ease of maintenance, isolation valves are recommended upstream and downstream of the regulator.

Applications - Suitable for domestic hot water circulation systems in hospitals, aged care facilities, hotels, apartment buildings, sports facilities, commercial buildings, and other installations where automatic hydraulic balancing, temperature stability, and energy efficiency are required.
