The Zurn Wilkins 375 Reduced Pressure Principle Backflow Assembly (RPZ) is utilized where a potential high health hazard exists and is ideal for use when lead-free valves are required protecting against both backsiphonage and backpressure of contaminated water into the potable water supply. The 375 includes an epoxy-coated inside and out ductile iron valve body eliminating exposure to corrosion. With multiple options for NRS, OS&Y, and Butterfly shut-off valves, the 375 utilizes the Zurn Wilkins low headloss Compound Check and offers the lowest lifecycle costs on the market.Wilkins 375 valves are light weight and have a very low head loss of pressure. Ductile iron body construction drastically reduces the weight that is normally associated with gray iron bodies, and the patented Compound Check took head loss to lows not previously seen with a center-stem guided check. The Compound Check provides a mechanical 'assist' resulting in very low pressure loss. And reversible, replacable seat washers allow minimum down time and minimum repair costs.
