The MacDonald solenoid valves are normally closed with pilot control. Used on products such as our Waterguard urinal sensor, Warden control systems, Trap Primer and many other products, these are available in 15, 20 and 25mm and in 240V or 24V AC. Because they are designed for intermittent use we do not recommend using these solenoid valves for any other purpose other than with MacDonald Industries products.
Minimum operational pressure of 20kpa is required. Maximum static pressure of 2000kpa but we recommend to not exceed 500kpa or it is highly likely you will experience water hammer due to the instant opening and closing of the solenoid valve.
